If you know me, you know how much I enjoy cheesecake. It is most likely my favorite thing to bake out of all the other desserts I made like chocolate chip cookies or muffins. How to prevent cheesecake from cracking?
Make sure to leave your cream cheese at room temperature for 1-2hours before mixing in a mixer or mixing bowl. Do not overwhip your cheesecake, having more air bubbles will increase your chances of forming cracks. If air bubbles are formed, just tap the side of your spring foam pan or regular pan a couple of times to release them.
Chocolate Chip Cheesecake Recipe : Special ingredients / Substitutes
- Granulated Sugar can be switched out with brown sugar or sweetener
- Sour cream switched for greek yogurt
- Pure vanilla extract swapped with an artificial one
- Chocolate chips switched with chocolate bite chunks or dark chocolate
